Nintendo has just announced that a new
Pokémon Direct will be streamed tomorrow, on the
27th of February, at 6 a.m. Pacific Time; revealing that this presentation will be 7 minutes long.
This is exciting news for
Pokémon fans all over the world, since there's a very good chance that Nintendo and GameFreak finally unveil details — and perhaps even a first look — at the long-awaited Generation 8 for the Nintendo Switch.
The first time we ever heard about
Pokémon Generation 8 for the Nintendo Switch was back in 2017, during Nintendo's E3 Direct, when The Pokémon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishiara shared a few details about the upcoming game.
It's been almost two years since then and we have had no news regarding the project. Tomorrow's
Pokémon Direct will likely reveal more details about Generation 8, since chances of Nintendo revealing another
Pokémon title for the Nintendo 3DS are very slim; we'll just have to wait and see. Regardless, this is great news for fans who have been desperately awaiting news about that new core RPG
Pokémon game.
