Cadence of Hyrule - Crypt of the Necrodancer is a rhythm roguelike title that, as the name appropriately suggests, is a crossover of The Legend of Zelda and Crypt of the Necrodancer — which was released exclusively for the Nintendo Switch last week.

This game being a proper crossover, it is expected to feature some elements from both The Legend of Zelda series and Crypt of the Necrodancer; and this is, unsurprisingly, the case — as the game takes place in Hyrule but uses the traverse and combat systems from Crypt of the Necrodancer.

While some players may be familiar with the gameplay mechanics seen in Crypt of the Necrodancer, others may still be trying to figure out how to move, attack, and defend appropriately, and Nintendo has released an overview trailer for Cadence of Hyrule - Crypt of the Necrodancer to help players who may still be struggling with these new mechanics.

Check it out:

As Link — or even as Princess Zelda — you’ll explore the randomly generated overworld and dungeons on a quest to save Hyrule. Every beat of each remixed, The Legend of Zelda tune is a chance to move, attack, defend, and more, so stay one step ahead of each enemy and boss…or face the music.

Cadence of Hyrule - Crypt of the Necrodancer is currently available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
