One of the big changes that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild made to the critically acclaimed series — amongst many, many others, if we are being honest — was to give players the ability to change Link's clothes, which isn't really a first for the series, but the scope was way more ambitious.
In previous entries in the series, tunics gave players different buffs, but in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild these could be combined in order to not only give Link buffs, but they are also quite nice to wear as mere cosmetics, and it seems that some of these will be making a comeback soon.
As revealed by nintendo today, Team Ninja's upcoming Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will allow players to change Link's outfits to those seen in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, such as the Rito Snowquill and Gerudo Voe sets; including thematic weapons.
Nintendo hasn't confirmed whether these outfits will grant Link specific abilities, so we will have to keep waiting for the developers to reveal more information about this particular topic, but the fact that some outfits — perhaps, even, all of them — will be making a comeback is definitely exciting news for fans.
