Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido is an upcoming action-puzzle game developed by indieszero and Nintendo—who is also publishing the game— that will releae for the Nintendo Switch and the 3DS family of systems on the
8th of June.
The game takes place in a world where the tyrannous Empire has legally monopolised the world sushi supply and the republic's only hope is a courageous orphan named Musashi, who wants to share the awesome taste of sushi with everyone in the world.
In
Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido, players need engage in sushi battles in which players have to select plates of matching colours on the lanes and connect them to one another. By doing this, Musashi will eat the sushi stack up the remaining plates in order to throw them at his opponents to knock them down and win the fight. The game also allows for thrilling multiplayer sushi battles either locally or online.
Sushi Sprites are the sushi strikers' greatest allies during the battles as they store up energy while the player eats sushi, thus allowing players to unleash powerful skills. The are over 50 different
Sushi Sprites to discover and they feature all sorts of skills such as attacks, skills that grant healing effects, and lane-affecting skills—being able to bring into battle up to 3
Sushi Sprites at one time.
