Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit is Nintendo and Velan Studios' new take on the classic Mario Kart formula, although this time the developers have wanted to make the experience even more immersive, and decided to give players an AR(augmented reality) game that played exactly like Mario Kart.
The developers at Velan Studios have revealed that it was of paramount importance to make their RC karts control exactly like the karts seen in previous entries in the Mario Kart series; from what we have seen from the trailers they've released, they have seemingly succeeded.
Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit will give players the chance to build their own race tracks at home, which is obviously the game's main selling point, while also allowing them to race other players(each with their own RC Mario Kart and Nintendo Switch system) and enjoy classic Mario Kart in their own living room.
Nintendo announced the game early in September, and the great news for those who have been anticipting it is that Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit has finally become available today. To celebrate the occasion, Nintendo has shared a trailer that does a pretty good job showing players just how fun the game can be.
For those who may still want to see more gameplay, the Nintendo Minute crew recently tested the game, which we have also included down below, that will give players a pretty good idea of what to expect from the game, the RC Mario Kart, and how Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit actually manages to feel like a proper Mario Kart game.
