Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja's recently released Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order has received an update that fixed an unintended glitch that allowes players to level up their characters a lot faster than the developers had originally intended.

The bug in question gave players the ability to use multiple versions of a single hero in their team, thus allowing them to quickly level up any character they wanted; completely removing the game's challenge — and, truth be told, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order can be quite challenging at times.

Players who want to keep playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order online are now required to update their game to version 1.0.2, although this is likely done automtically for some players depending on their console's preferences in regards to updates.

Assemble your ultimate team of Marvel Super Heroes from a huge cast including the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, the X-Men, and more!
