Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield are still a solid three months away from releasing, but fans of the series have been dying to know more about this new entry in the long-running Pocket Monster series — especially since these new games actually seem a real improvement over the last few titles released for the Nintendo 3DS.

A couple of days ago, The Pokémon Company announced that some new information regarding Nintendo and Game Freak's upcoming Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield would be revealed, and today they have released a new trailer that delivers what they promised.

The new trailer released earlier today, introduces players to Galarian forms which, much like the Alolan versions, are unique to the Galar region. We are also introduced to Bede and Marnie, two new rivals that players will have to face against, as well as the new Team Yell.

Check it out:

Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield will be set in Galar, an expansive region with many environments—idyllic countryside, contemporary cities, thick forests, and craggy, snow-covered mountains. The people and Pokémon live together in this region, and they’ve worked together to develop the industries here.

Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield will be available for the Nintendo Switch on the 15th of November.
