Ubisoft's Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle will receive a free update tomorrow, introducing a brand new local two-player game mode on the Nintendo Switch. The new Versus Mode will pit two players against each other on the same screen (sharing a pair of Joy-Con controllers or using the Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers) to fight on unique and evolving battlefields.
Players will be able to choose between three different heroes among the eight from the main game. For each character, they will also choose among three unique pre-sets with specific statistics. Bonuses will drop on the battlefield throughout the match, introducing things like additional actions, double damage, or other advantages. Additionally, every battle can be customized with various settings, from adding a timer or limiting the number of turns of a battle, to removing all of the items for a pure tactical experience.
Look out for the free Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle update on Nintendo Switch tomorrow, December 8.
