It's that time of the year once more when Nintendo takes to the screens of their massive anticipating fanbase and announces what they've got in store for the remainder of the year.
Following rumors that a Nintendo Direct Showcase will be taking place sometime soon, Nintendo has confirmed (via @NintendoAmerica) that the live stream will be taking place tomorrow, September 13th. The newest Nintendo Direct is set to go live at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET / 3 PM BST.
Due to the recent passing of Queen Elizabeth II, Nintendo UK has opted not to stream the Direct but rather upload it on-demand at 4 PM BST, after the live stream itself has concluded, in respect of the country's currently ongoing mourning period. However, those in the UK will still be able to watch the stream live from the NA sources should they be inclined.
This Nintendo Direct will be approximately 40 minutes long and focus on what Nintendo has in store for the Nintendo Switch console this Winter, specifically games that will be launching for the device later this year.
Tomorrow's live stream is the first major Nintendo Direct of 2022 since February, the one in June being only a Nintendo Direct Mini that showcased at the time upcoming third-party games for the Switch. That said, fans have some high expectations for the showcase event.
News regarding The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Metroid Prime, and the highly anticipated sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is expected as well as much more. We'll cover the announcements as and when they drop so be sure to keep an eye on Gamefragger tomorrow.
