The holiday shopping season is in full swing and Walmart has launch the first phase of its multi-week Black Friday event. The first major sale of the season began yesterday and runs through the weekend, ending on November 15th.
The Black Friday sale features hundreds of discounts for electronics, including consoles, games, peripherals, and accessories. We already covered the best PlayStation 5 deals this weekend, but below you can see what's being offered for Nintendo.
Nintendo has already confirmed it will be running a promotion on its Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle, dropping the price from $499.99 to $449.99. This discount won't begin until November 20th though, and you'll see me explain why you may want to wait before pulling the trigger on some of the bundles below.
There will also be a number of Nintendo Switch games available between $29.99 and $39.99. Many of these games can be played on the Swithc 2.
With that in mind, let's take a look at some of the best Nintendo Switch 2 deals for Walmart's Black Friday 2025 Event 1:
Nintendo Switch 2 Console + Madden NFL 26 Bundle - $499.99
Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World Bundle + Nintendo Joy-Con 2 Controllers + Donkey Kong Bananza - $649.97
While this isn't necessarily a discount, bundling all these items -- the Switch 2 console, Joy-Con 2 controllers, Mario Kart World, and Donkey Kong Bananza -- offers a total savings of around $50
Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle - $499
This is the standard Switch 2 bundle that includes a copy of Mario Kart World, but you should probably wait on this as Nintendo has already confirmed it will be getting a $50 discount for the holidays beginning November 20th. It will be available for $449.
Nintendo Switch 2 Console + The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom + amiibo Riju + amiibo Sidon - $579.96
This includes the Switch 2 console plus a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Remastered. The amiibo Riju grants Link a unique, random assortment of items, including weapons and materials, as well as a special chest that may contain contain a Gerudo Scimitar, Gerudo Shield, or the Sage of Lightning paraglider fabric. The amiibo Sidon also yields a variety of rewards, including the Zora Spear and the Sage of Water Fabric for Link's paraglider.
Nintendo Switch 2 Mario Kart World Bundle + Nintendo Switch 2 Camera + Donkey Kong Bananza - $614.97
Another Mario Kart World plus more bundle, this one throws in the Switch 2 Camera and a copy of Donkey Kong Bananza. However, the price itself doesn't offer much in terms of holiday savings. Buying all these individually with the Switch 2 console bundle at full price would normally $624.97. However, as we noted, the Switch 2 bundle will be on sale for $449 this holiday season, so you're better off getting that and then the rest of these accessories and games separately.
Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller + Pokemon Legends Z-A Nintendo Switch 2 Edition - $149.99 (save $10)
This bundle of the Switch 2 Pro Controller and a copy of the Switch 2 Edition of Pokemon Legends Z-A offers a discount of $10. It would cost around $159.99 if you were to buy them each individually.
Super Mario Party Jamboree - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV - $62.99 (save $17 $79.99)
An enhanced re-release of the original Supe rMario Party Jamboree game, the Switch 2 edition features visual and performance enhancements, and utilizes the new features of the Switch 2's hardware, like the Joy-Con 2 controller's mouse capabilities and the console's camera/microphone support. Jamboree TV is an expansion specifically for the Switch 2 that includes new minigames and game modes as well as the optional CameraPlay feature.
Switch 2 Carrying Case Kit - $17.99 (save $12 $29.99)
If you've yet to upgrade to the Switch 2, there are plenty of accessories and controllers available for the original Switch console. Nintendo isn't typically known for its holiday discounts, and given the success of the Switch 2, I doubt we'll see any major discounts beyond the deals that have already been announced.
