Super Smash Bros. Ultimate brings together Nintendo's All-Stars, as well as some of the most popular characters from other iconic video game series like
Final Fantasy,
Metal Gear Solid,
Mega Man, and
Sonic the Hedgehog—to name only but a few.
With all the hype surrounding Nintendo's highly anticipated crossover fighting game, the developers from video game franchises other than Nintendo have began their Artwork Countdown as they wait for
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's long-awaited release.
Last week we shared the first batch of developers artwork, which featured some very creative pieces of art that featured characters from the
Monster Hunter,
Castlevania,
Pac-Man,
Animal Crossing,
Bomber Man, and
Kirby series; making the wait for fans a lot easier to bear.
Now that Japan is less than 24 hours away from the release of
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate(known in Japan as
Super Smash Bros. Special), we get a new batch of art work; this time featuring characters from
Final Fantasy,
Xenoblade Chronicles,
Sonic the Hedgehog,
Pokémon,
The Legend of Zelda,
Fire Emblem,
Bayonetta,
Kid Icarus,
Metal Gear Solid,
Splatoon, and the
Mega Man series.
