First-person hero shooter Paladins is a game developed by Hi-Rez Studios that was announced for the Nintendo Switch earlier in June. Although the game had already been released for other consoles in May of this year, Nintendo fans were still waiting for its official announcement.

Paladins for the Nintendo Switch became available 12th of June—a mere week after its announcement—during this year's E3. The game offers a team-based experience where players need to rely on teamwork and proper strategy—especially when choosing their Champions, which will definitely help decide the outcome of the match.

Upon release, the game was available for purchases on the Nintendo eShop but it has now been officially confirmed to be a free-to-play title. Players looking to get the full Paladins experience now need to go to the Nintendo Switch eShop and simply download the software—granted they will need an extra 6.1GB to get the full game on the console.
