Ever since
Kirby: Star Allies launched back in March of this year, Nintendo has been supporting the game by adding new playable characters and keeping things interesting for fans of the pink puffball. Wave 1 of DLC characters brought back some familiar faces from
Kirby's Dream Land 2,
Kirby Super Star, and even
Kirby's Return to Dreamland.
Wave 2 of DLC characters introduced Dark Meta Knight, Adelein & Ribbon, and Daroach—all coming from past Kirby titles such as
Kirby & The Amazing Mirror,
Kirby's Dreamland 3,
Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, and
Kirby Squak Squad; making for quite a respectable roster of playable characters.
Now, Wave 3 is bringing even more characters to
Kirby: Star Allies, as well as a brand-new mode that will put the player's skills to the test. This update will be completely free and will become available for
Kirby: Star Allies players on the
30th of November.
The new characters are Magolor from
Kirby's Return to Dreamland, Taranza from
Kirby: Triple Deluxe, and Susie from
Kirby: Planet Robobot.
Heroes in Another Dimension is the game's new mode included in this free update, which will allow players to finally play as every Dream Friend and will see them fighting against parallel versions of the game's foes.
Take a look:
Kirby™ is back—and he's finally on the Nintendo Switch console in HD! But this time, he's not alone. Recruit enemies by hitting them with hearts and gather helpers for a party of up to four characters. On top of that, you can join with up to three friends for a different kind of team-up action!
