Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu! and
Pokémon Let's Go, Eevee! will be featuring Master Trainers as something for players to look forward to after becoming the Pokémon League Champion.
The latest trailer for the game is finally introducing us to Master Trainers, letting Pokémon fans know that their journey is far from over after becoming the Pokémon League Champion, since that's when these special trainers will begin showing up across the Kanto region: each of them being the strongest trainer for a specific Pokémon. What's even more interesting is that there is one Master Trainer for each of the 151 Pokémon available in the Kanto region.
Players will able to easily identify these Master Trainer since there will always thinking about their favourite Pokémon, depicted as a thought bubble with theit favourite Pokémon above their heads. Not only that, but their clothes will also be different than regular trainers.
To make things even more interesting for players, some Master Trainers will have simple requests for the players, but others will simply want to battle them. The catch here is that some of these Master Trainers will only fight against the Pokémon species they love, so players are encouraged to train every Pokémon to be up to the challenge.
Upon besting these Master Trainers, players will be granted their title that proves they are also worthy of being called a Master Trainer of their favourite Pokémon species. These titles will be visible when players engage in Link Battles with their friends, so they can proudly show off their Master Trainer status.
