SPLATOON Is Inking Its Way Into An Anime Adaptation!

Squid? Kid? And now anime? The Inklings and their Turf Wars are launching their way into an anime series starting on Youtube next month!

With the launch of Splatoon 2 this week, the hype around the franchise is at an all-time high. Nintendo are capitalizing on this and the incredible love for the lore with a new anime spin-off launching on CoroCoro’s Youtube channel on the 12th of August.

CoroCoro have been working on Splatoon manga for a long time now, the stories told in this manga will be translated into anime form by CoroCoro.



Splatoon 2 launches this week on July 21st on the Nintendo Switch with an expansive single-player campaign that dives deeper into the world of the Inklings and the hit multi player Turf Wars. With new weapons, maps, gear and the brand new Salmon Run horde mode, there’s plenty for new and old fans of Splatoon.
