Team Meat's super difficult platformer Super Meat Boy will challenge Nintendo Switch owners on January 11, 2018, the company announced over the weekend.
In announcing the game's Switch release date, the developer also hinted at some sort of competitive race mode. No official details have been revealed yet, but it appears the mode will make use of the Switch's multiplayer functionality with the two JoyCon controllers allowing for players to enjoy some local competitive gameplay. It looks like the screen will be split in half with players racing to complete a level.
More details are likely to arrive in the coming weeks, but for now get ready for Super Meat Boy to hit the Nintendo Switch on January 11, 2018.
