Universal Studios' SUPER NINTENDO WORLD To Offer Players An Interactive Experience

Universal Studios' Super Nintendo World will, apparently, be quite the new experience as far as theme parks concern, and Universal Creative CCO Theirry Coup reveals exactly why.

Earlier today, Nintendo released a music video that introduced the world to Universal Studios' all-new Super Nintendo World theme park; a place where attendees will be able to interact with some of their favourite Nintendo characters; including the legendary Mario himself.

While we didn't really get a look at the park itself, the music video did imply that attendees will be heavily interacting with these characters, and Universal Creative CCO Theirry Coup has actually revealed that this isn't much further from the truth.

"Think of Super Nintendo World as a life-size, living video game where you become one of the characters. You're not just playing the game; you're living the game, you're living the adventure," reveals Coup, as he then adds that "Nintendo's most iconic locations and experiences will be brought to life, including Mushroom Kingdom, Peach's Castle, an incredible Mario Kart ride, Bowser's Castle - and more."

What Theirry Coup mentions could really end up being a game changer for theme parks in general, since Super Nintendo World will be the first video game theme park ever created, and they really seem to be taking the video game part seriously by allowing visitors to actually become their favourite Nintendo characters.

Of all these attractions that Super Nintendo World will be featuring, perhaps the one that most people are looking forward to is Mario Kart, as it is the one that is more plausible to faithfully recreate; with all that said, everything about the theme park sounds phenomenal.

Now, we've only seen the world of Super Mario Bros. being part of Super Nintendo World, but other franchises have also been rumoured to be part of the theme park, such as The Legend of Zelda, although neither Nintendo nor Universal have confirmed this.

World’s first ever SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™ area opens at Universal Studios Japan this Summer.
