Despite a few franchises like Mario, Zelda and Smash Bros. not many gamers pay a whole lot of attention to what Nintendo is doing these days. However, could early support from WB Games be an indicator that the NX console will close the gap between the Xbox One and PS4?  WB Interactive president David Haddad has stated that the company that they're feeling "bullish" about the Next-Gen consoles, including the NX.  "We have great relationships with all the console platforms. We believe we play a role in each of them. What I saw with the announcements that were made at the show — I’m fairly bullish about he console cycle, about gamers spending time on them and finding great content, about publishers being able to find returns on increasing investments in that space. We’re constantly deciding how to navigate that, but supporting them is not a question for us."

With Nintendo's decision to place emphasis on controller and gameplay schemes over console processing power, many gamers have moved on to the PS4, Xbox One or even CPU gaming.  While not a lot is known about the NX, could Nintendo finally be reversing course and placing an emphasis on its hardware?
