Capcom has recently updated their sales in numbers of some of their best-selling titles of all time, revealing that the critically acclaimed
Okami and
Mega Man 11 have already managed to sell a very impressive 1 million units each.
This information includes both digital and physical sales for both titles, although it is worth mentioning that the version of
Okami that has sold 1 million units is actually the recently released
Okami HD — which originally released in December of 2017.
Mega Man 11, on the other hand, was released in October of last year and managed to reach that goal of 1 million units sold in almost exactly one year since its release — as the information takes into account sales as of the 30th of September.
The original
Okami was actually released in April of 2006 for the PlayStation 2, and eventually got a few high definition ports for newer consoles; without managing to sell 1 million units, even after including previously released ports of the critically acclaimed title.
Monster Hunter World, for those who may be wondering, is still Capcom's best-selling title of all time; with an overwhelmingly impressive 14.1 million units sold since its original release in January of 2018.
