Okami is a game developed by Clover Studio and published by Capcom that saw its original release in 2006 for the PlayStation 2. Ever since, the game has seen a few ports to other consoles such as the Wii, in the very same year, and would later get an HD remaster in the form of
Okami HD for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam.
Okami HD was released for the Nintendo Switch last week and now we've got an official announcement that the game will be getting a fantastic Okami Vinyl Set by Data Discs. The vinyl set will include the game's original soundtrack by Masami Ueda, Hiroshi Yamaguchi, Reir Kondoh, and Akari Groves—all having worked on renowned series such as
Resident Evil,
Bayonetta, and
Devil May Cry, to name but a few
.
The Okami Vinvyl Set is presented as a quadruple LP boxset that feature over two hours of remastered tunes from the game. This set is also including a 40-page artbook with double-sided lithographic print—all of which being original illustrations from the Japanese Capcom archives. On top of that, the package also includes a download code for the album.
It is also worth mentioning that there are three different Vinyl Sets that fans can get, these being: 4 x 180g Frosted Clear vinyl with Cherry Blossom Pink and Amaterasu White for the Special Edition, 4 x 180g Frosted Clear, and 4x 180g Classic Black. The Limited Edition will only be available until the
15th of August at 10PM UK time and pre-orders for all versions go for £64.99
