Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition is almost upon us, as the enhanced version of the Wii's classic role-playing title will be hitting store shelves worldwide on Friday the 29th of May — giving players to immerse themselves in the game's breathtaking open world.
Those who were able to play the original Xenoblade Chronicles on the Nintendo Wii are already familiar with the game's story and its memorable characters. Most players actually know of Shulk because he's one of the characters introduced as a fighter in Super Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U, but may not know of the character's background.
For those who may still not know about Shulk, Fiora, Dunban, or the legendary Monado sword, Nintendo and MonolithSoft have shared a new trailer that pretty much tells us everything we need to know about Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition.
Perhaps what's the most important aspect of the game, other than the characters, massive open world, and overall story, is the game's combat system, and this trailer also teaches us some of the basics of this unique system — which a system that's already a staple to the Xenoblade series, but may confuse some at first; after a few battles, however, it becomes quite intuitive.
