8BitDo just keeps outding itself with their Bluetooth controllers that resemble classic controllers from consoles in the 8 and 16-Bit era; mainly because of their compatibility with current gen platforms and the high quality of their products, of course.
A while ago, 8BitDo surprised us all with the reveal of an adapter that allowed players to connect their wireless DualShocker 4 controllers to the PlayStation Classic; making things a lot easier for players who were still disappointed over Sony not allowing for such connectivity themselves.
Now, 8BitDo are — once again — surprising fans with the reveal of a brand-new Sega Genesis/Mega Drive-inspired Bluetooth controller. This new controller will be compatible with the Nintendo Switch, macOS, PC, and even Android devices.
8BitDo is also introducing a Retro Receiver that will allow players to connect this new controller to their Sega Genesis or Sega Mega Drive consoles, so they can play their classic games with a wireless controller.
The 8Bitdo M30 Bluetooth Gamepad - Sega Genesis & Mega Drive Style(yes, it's a mouthful) and the Retro Receiver will both become available in exactly a month from now, on the
28th of February, and customers can already pre-order them on
Amazon by clicking here for the controller, and
here for the Retro Receiver.
