Say what you will about
Sonic the Hedgehog games in general, there's one thing that no one an deny about them is the fact that their soundtracks are simply phenomenal, despite the quality of the games themselves; and Sega knows this very well.
Among the latest titles in the
Sonic the Hedgehog series to be released, we have the critically acclaimed
Sonic Mania; a game that brought back all of the elements from the classic Sega Genesis titles, including some new beats produced by composer Tee Lopes.
Tee Lopes soundtrack was, in fact, so well received that Sega has lately been releasing remixed versions of other classic
Sonic the Hedgehog titles — albeit now produced by Lopes himself — and they are phenomenal.
Today, Sega has delighted us, one more time, with a fantastic remix of "Can You Feel the Sunshine" from the classic 1997 racing title
Sonic R — which is, actually, a fairly dvisivie game that has a very beloved soundtrack; this time produced by Tee and Mariana Lopes.
