At the time of writing, it has been revealed that BioWare and Obsidian will showcase their new games at The Game Awards 2018, alongside new trailers for
RAGE 2, Anthem, and possibly the long-rumored Alien
game. That's not all, as the Russo brothers (the directors o
f Avengers: Infinity War), Muppet Pepé the King Prawn, Aisha Tyler, Christoph Waltz, Josef Fares, and more will be presenters at TGA 2018.
The list is quite impressive right now, and that's just a small beginning, as the show's host and producer Geoff Keighley just announced that the legendary composer Hans Zimmer (
Gladiator, The Dark Knight) will be joining the production crew to perform and help his long-time collaborator Lorne Balfe (
Assassin's Creed III, Mission Impossible: Fallout), who will serve as the musical director for the show.
That's not all, as Keighley also revealed today that the new game from the
Assassin's Creed creator Patrice Désilets will be showcased during the show and after it in a special GameSpot livestream.
Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is Désilets' first major project since 2009 when he left Ubisoft. Désilets was also working on
1666: Amsterdam, but it went down with the original THQ in 2012.
Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is a third person action-adventure survival game. The player will relive the early story of mankind with a documentary twist. Humanity is one idea away from evolution or extinction...
Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey doesn't have a set release date yet.
