Earlier this year, we learnt that this year's E3 would be cancelled on account of the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. While everybody understood the reason, this didn't stop the disappointment many players experienced.

Some Triple-A and Indie developers revealed that they were still trying to find other ways to keep connecting with their audiences, and that they would do everything within their grasp to still make new video game announcements.

Today a brand-new online showcase named New Game + Expo(stylised "NGPX") has been announced, which will be giving developers the chance to announce some of their new, and existing projects in a similar way that this year's cancelled E3 event would've allowed them to; albeit online, of course.

As per the announcement, New Game + Expo will be streamed worldwide on the 23rd of June at 8:00AM PDT / 5:00PM CEST exclusively via Twitch, and will be showcasing upcoming projects by the following publishers: Acttil, Playism, AKSYS GAMES, Arc System Works, Gungho America, Idea Factory, Inti Creates, Koei Tecmo, Natsume, NIS America, Sega, Atlus, SNK, Spike Chunsoft, Grasshopper Manufacture, and WayForward.
