In 2009 Rocksteady released what would be deemed as one of the best superhero games ever made with Batman: Arkham Asylum. The game saw a few more sequels before the developer moved on from Batman to work on a secret project.
Ever since the release of Batman: Arkham Asylum, fans have been longing for Rocksteady to work on a Superman title and finally do the character justice; especially since there really aren't any good Superman games, being The Death and Return of Superman the only one considered decent, and even that's a bit of a stretch.
Well, we have bad news for fans that have been hoping for that secret Rocksteady project to be a Superman game, as Rocksteady co-founder Sefton Hill confirms that the game they're working on is not Superman. The information was posted on Hill's Twitter account, where he also revealed that Rocksteady will not be announcing their secret game at The Game Awards this year.
While the news is certainly disappointing, this doesn't necessarily mean that their next game will not be a hit, so all fans have to do now is wait for the official announcement of that secret game they're working on, that is officially not going to be Superman.
