The latest rumor doing the rounds on the internet is claiming that Nintendo is planning on streaming a Nintendo Direct as soon as this Thursday, on the
11th of April.
The information comes from
Gaming INTEL, which mentions that their sources have found out the date of this alleged Nintendo Direct, but they didn't really specify what Nintendo will be revealing or any other relevant details.
A Nintendo Direct coming out this week would be almost perfect timing for a nice send-off for Nintendo's Chief Operating Officer Reggie Fils-Aimé, who
announced his retirement in February and will be stepping down as Nintendo of America COO on the
15th of April.
Whatever the case, there are quite a bunch of titles that Nintendo revealed during February's Direct, so it would be nice to see more of that
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening remake or more information about
Super Mario Maker 2, which is scheduled to release this June. We'll just have to wait and see if Nintendo officially announces something before Thursday.
