Space Harrier is one of Sega's most memorable games of all time. It is a game that was initially released in 1985 and is still remembered fondly by fans of the Shoot 'em Up genre.

This year, in fact, Sega re-released Space Harrier on the Nintendo Switch — as part of their Sega Ages series of remastered classic titles; with some slight changes that allow players to make the game a tad easier than the original mode.

Space Harrier isn't only remembered because of its tight controls, however, since its phenomenal soundtrack is probably the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about the game — especially the game's main theme; a themed considered a masterpiece by many .

Today, Sega has shared an interview with Sega Interctive Sound Director Master Hiro, who was in charge of composing the soundtrack for Space Harrier; reflecting on his experiences working on Sega's classic, and fondly remembered Shoot 'em Up.
