Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was announced during this year's lackluster EA PLAY media briefing, featuring a quick interview with Respawn Entertainment CEO Vince Zampella and the reveal of the game's logo. While it was hardly the most exacting announcement in history, we know that the
Titanfall team is working on the project that will be releasing Holiday 2019 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
According to the latest report from Reddit user u/Xyzsvtabc (whose information on Jon Favreau's
Mandalorian Disney+ TV series have been recently confirmed by quite reliable MakingStarWars website),
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is set to release in November. Apparently, the game takes place about five years after George Lucas'
Revenge of the Sith and the execution of the famous Order 66.
In case you don't remember the plot of
Episode III, Order 66 was a secret order identifying all Jedi as traitors that resulted in the destruction of the Jedi Order. Apparently, the game's plot follows the main character named Cal who used to be a padawan and managed to survive the Emperor's grand plan. The redditor has also revealed that Cal has a female mentor figure Ceres. While that rumor might be true, please remember that it's just a gossip and none of it has been confirmed by EA yet.
From Respawn Entertainment comes a brand-new action adventure game which tells an original Star Wars story around a surviving Padawan set shortly after the events of Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be releasing Holiday 2019.
