Earlier in September, during Nintendo's Direct presentation, Aspyr revealed that they were porting the classic
Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast to the Nintendo Switch — which was also later revealed to release for the PlayStation 4.
The game finally released on the 24th of September and, to many players' surprise, Aspyr had done away with the option to invert the Y axis in both the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch versions of
Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast; something that is odd considering that this option was available in the original game.
After fans began to complain about the lack of inverted aim in
Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, Aspyr announced that they were working on a patch for both versions of the game — which would be adding inverted aim in the coming weeks.
Not an hour ago, Aspyr finally announced that they released a patch that adds the option to invert the Y axis, but it is only available for the PlayStation 4 version of the game. The good news is that they also confirmed that the Nintendo Switch version of
Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast will be getting this patch
next week.
