There's a chance you remember a small, but incredibly controversial game titled
Hatred. The isometric shoot'em up was the third video game in history, only behind
Manhunt 2 and the unreleased
Thrill Kill, to receive the AO ("Adults Only") rating for extreme violence and strong sexual content. The developers responsible for
Hatred from Destructive Creations also made
IS Defense, a game set in politically-fictional 2020, telling the story of a small group of elite soldiers that are actively fighting ISIS.
While Destructive Creations' first two games were critically panned, their least controversial title,
Ancestors Legacy, is not only a quality project, but also a highly successful one. The real-time strategy is finally complete with all 8 single-player campaigns in place, giving you a chance to experience historically-accurate medieval bloodshed playing as Anglo-Saxons, Germans, Slavs, and Vikings.
New, and completely free story missions are currently available for all
Ancestors Legacy players, showcasing the arrival of the Teutonic Knights. The DLC's story is told from the perspective of two major historical characters, through an eminent Knight Brother, Konrad von Thierberg and his opponent from the Prussian tribe, the leader of the rebels – Herkus Monte.
