According To Gearbox, BORDERLANDS 3 Won't Be Presented At E3 2018 After All

What a twist! It looks like Gearbox has decided to try to shut down Walmart Canada's leak and confirmed today that their highly-anticipated Borderlands 3 won't be announced or showcased at the upcoming E3 2018!

Borderlands 3 was one of the games that were leaked by Walmart Canada (I'm sorry, it wasn't a leak but "a technical glitch") among projects such as Assassin's Creed (presumably titled "Odyssey"), Splinter Cell 7, Gears of War 5, Just Cause 4, and what makes the situation even more fascinating - Rage 2. The game that was officially announced yesterday had also been leaked by Walmart.

It looks like Bethesda will remain the only publisher that decided to take this golden chance as Gearbox has decided to announce that Borderlands 3 won't be shown at this E3. According to Shack News, "a representative from Gearbox Software announced to a room of journalists earlier today that there will be no Borderlands presence at E3 whatsoever". Here's where the plot thickens.

Gearbox Software confirmed at the same meaning that the studio has other titles to show at the expo. You may remember the reports that Gearbox is working on their E3 presentation when PR Manager Austin Malcolm said that "April was a crazy month for me and probably every other PR person in the games industry. “Why”, you ask? Well that’s because E3 is just a few months away, and discussions on what to reveal, who to reveal it with and when we want to reveal it have already begun!"

There's one thing we know for sure - Gearbox is going to show something during E3 2018. But what can it be? I put my money on the return of Sgt. Baker and the long-forgotten Brothers in Arms series.
