Borderlands 3 released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms only a couple of days ago. The new first-person shooter is reportedly causing some severe issues for console users (via Comicbook.com). Many are taking to social media to warn others that the game has proven to be too demanding for their Xbox One and PlayStation 4 to handle.

Most notably, there have been multiple accounts of the Xbox One and Xbox One X consoles overheating. Though the game seems to be crashing on both the Microsoft and Sony consoles, it similarly seems to happen most commonly on the Xbox. On the PlayStation side of things, users have made mention that Borderlands 3 is causing their consoles to breathe excessively loudly.

However, despite all of the troubles that console users are undergoing, PC players seem to be having a jolly ol' time with the third installment in the popular game series. Hopefully Gearbox Software can swiftly update the console version of the game to be less overbearing so that PlayStation and Xbox users can join in on the irreverent fun.

Borderlands 3 is out now for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
