Seven years have passed since the original release of Borderlands 2 (and five since the launch of its Pre-Sequel), but it looks like Gearbox Software is finally ready to unveil the future of the beloved franchise.

Gearbox has released an all-new teaser trailer for a mysterious Borderlands title, putting the spotlight on the well-known mask worn by psychos in the games. While the said teaser is not too shabby, the most important information can be found under the video in Gearbox’s official notes, asking you to tune in tomorrow at 2pm EDT / 11am PDT at Borderlands.com for Gearbox’s PAX East livestream.

While the announcement of Borderlands 3 would be a huge event on its own, there's also a chance that Gearbox will showcase the long-rumored Borderlands Game of the Year Edition and special Borderlands VR experience during the main show. Although it all sounds awesome, remember that until anything is confirmed, consider everything reported on this subject nothing more than a rumor.
