EA is gearing up to reveal the first details for both Madden NFL 27 and College Football 27 in just a few weeks.

In a post on social media, Nick Mizesko, broadcaster of the EA Madden Championship Series, confirmed he's once again working with EA on both the Madden and College Football games this year, teasing when we'll start to get more information about both games.

"The team is hard at work on College Football and Madden 27 and they're going ot officiall start revealing game information in early June," he revealed.  Mizesko adding that he's been "working closely" with the team in Orlando, and revealed that they "are changing the way that reveals happen this year."

EA has largely embraced a traditional marketing push for both sports franchises, typically starting with a logo reveal and cover athlete hints. The first major announcement is usually a cover athlete reveal, which often also reflects the focus of the year's big changes and features. That's typically followed by a gamelay trailer, which is more of hype sizzle reel, and then written deep dive blog posts that go more in depth on the new features, gameplay improvements, and overall changes. It's unclear how EA plans to change things up this year, but it sounds like we won't have to wait much longer to find out.

EA has reportedly been sending out invites for playtests to the football community. We can independently confirm that EA recently hosted a playtest session in Orlando for College Football 27. Initial feedback that we've heared is that College Football 27 is a big improvement over last year's game with many of the community's complaints around dynasty having been addressed.

EA has already set live the store pages for both EA Sports College Football 27 and Madden NFL 27, confirming the platforms they'll be available on. College Football will once again be available on Xbox and PlayStation, while apparently skipping out on PC and Switch 2. The Xbox page confirmed a "summer" release, which is in line for the game's typical July launch.

Madden NFL 27, meanwhile, can be added to your wishlist on XboxPlayStationNintnedo Switch 2, and PC (Epic Games Store and Steam). The Xbox store specifically states that Madden 27 will release in August. This is also in line with previous installments, which have typically launched in early to mid August.

What changes are you hoping to see in either College Football 27 or Madden NFL 27 this year?
