During the annual Global Media and Communications Conference in New York yesterday, EA CFO Eric Brown announced that the beta for Star Wars: The Old Republic drew 2 million volunteers. He also added that 725,000 unique users logged on to the game during Thanksgiving weekend, and that users averaged 12 hours of gameplay time during the holiday weekend, and racking up more than 9 million total hours over the three day period.
Brown also claimed that there were "just over a quarter of a million" concurrent users playing during the beta's peak.
Star Wars: The Old Republic is due to hit retailers in a few weeks, on December 20th.
