Released in the September 4th patch is the first Raid, named Uldir, in
World of Warcraft's titular 7th expansion,
Battle for Azeroth. This patch brought a bunch of hotfixes and tweaks, but most players, at least those interested in PvE (Player versus Environment), will certainly be looking at the first 25-man content.
There are 8 bosses separated into 3 Wings:
-
Halls of Containment (Taloc, MOTHER, and Zek'voz)
-
Crimson Descent (Fetid Devourer, Vectis, and Zul, Reborn)
-
Heart of Corruption (Mythrax the Unraveler, and G'huun)
Players need to be properly equipped and feature a team of 25-players (2 tanks, 5 healers, and 18 damage dealers) to enter this raid. The Normal and Heroic versions of this raid have been unlocked this week, while the first Wing, will be released next week for 'Raid Finder,' a way for players to randomly queue into a group, rather than having to set one up manually this week.
Also new this week is the introduction of World Bosses! There is one in each of the 6 continents and every week players will be given a World Quest which will force players to group up and kill the corresponding boss, with the chance of getting high level items once a week. They are located as followed:
T'zane - Nazmir
Ji'arak - Zuldazar
Hailstone Construct - Drustvar
Azurethos, The Winged Typhoon - Kul Tiras
Warbringer Yenajz - Stormsong Valley
Dunegorger Kraulok - Vol'dun
And the last major inclusion in this week's patch is the PvP Season 1 for
BfA begins this week! Players will be able to join Rated Arenas (2v2 and 3v3) or Rated Battlegrounds (10v10) for the opportunity to reach the heralded 'Gladiator' title, coupled with amazing PvP gear!
Keep a close eye on all the news regarding
Battle for Azeroth, as more new content is just on the horizon!
