BattleTech universe. Yes,
MechWarrior 4: Vengeance launched for PC back in 2002. The Canadian studio revealed at last week’s MechCon 2018 that
MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries will launch on September 10, 2019, exclusively for PC.
To celebrate the release date's announcement, Piranha has also uploaded a brand new trailer that spotlights the core features of the upcoming
Mercenaries. The mechs' visual damages are especially interesting, as every mech in the game has 11 different body parts with three different visual damage states that will eventually start breaking down and falling apart after receiving too much damage.
That's not all, as the studio has also released
MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries’ officially key art that you can check out down below alongside the aforementioned trailer. According to Piranha, they are trying to deliver the best single-player
MechWarrior experience in history, and after looking at the newest promotional materials, there might be some truth in that ambitious statement. Check it out:
