The next themed set for Teamfight Tactics will be revealed this week with Riot Games confirming "Cyber City" will be unveiled during the Tactician's Crown.
The first teaser for TFT Set 14, dubbed "Cyber City," gave us a glimpse into the neon-colored, futurisitic theme of the auto battler, but fans who tune into this weekend's competition will get all the details. The Tactician's Crown runs from March 14th through March 16th, but Riot isn't making us wait until the end of the tournament to find out more about Cyber City.
In a post on social media, Riot confirmed that details about the highly anticipated set will be shared throughout the weekend. On March 14th, which coincides with the Tactician's Crown Top 32 tournament, fans will be treated to the Cyber City reveal cinematic. Riot's cinematics are always top-quality so this will definitely be one you won't want to miss. Furthermore, it could offer hints in terms of champions and traits/classes that could be featured.
Thankfully though, we won't have to wait too long for official confirmation about the traits. On March 15th, the Tactician's Crown Top 16, we'll get the exclusive Cyber City trait reveals. And finally, on March 16th, the Tactician's Crown Finals, the full Cyber City dev drop will be shared, giving us all the juicy details about the upcoming set. The dev drop will likely consist of a full video breakdown of the new set mechanics, traits and classes, champions, and cosmetics of Set 14.
The first teaser for Cyber City did offer some hints, including a possible look at some of the champions. Between the concept art and brief footage shown, some of the champions we think we've seen include:
- Zed (Debonair)
- Neeko (Street Demon)
- Mundo (Street Demon)
- Shaco (Crime City Nightmare)
- Graves (Porcelain Graves Chroma)
- Aurora (Anima Squad)
- Xayah (Anima Squad Chroma)
- Sylas (Anima Squad Chroma)
As for the aesthetic, it's pretty much cyberpunk. Bright neon colors, urban decay, and dystopian futuristic elements.
TFT Set 14: Cyber City is scheduled to go live on April 2, 2025 with patch 14.1. However, players should be able to test out the new set on the PBE, which should drop on March 19, 2025 with patch 13.8 following the dev drop.
In the meantime, we've got a few weeks of Set 13, Into the Arcane, which was tied into the second season of Netflix's critically acclaimed animated series.
