The single-player campaign of Star Citizen, titled Squadron 42, will tell an epic sci-fi story featuring an expansive cast of A-list Hollywood actors.

The release of Squadron 42 was delayed since its original release date of this October, but recently, an hour-long video of gameplay and commentary was released to showcase the current status of the project.

The game looks stunning, with names such as Mark Hamill, Gary Oldman, Gillian Anderson, Mark Strong and Andy Serkis lending their voices and motion-capture performances to make the characters as realistic as possible.

Cloud Imperium Games also released the minimum PC requirements on their website:
  • Windows 7 (64bit) with Service Pack 1, Windows 8 (64bit), Windows 10 – Anniversary Update (64bit)
  • DirectX 11 Graphics Card with 2GB RAM (4GB strongly recommended)
  • Quad-Core CPU
  • 16GB+ RAM
  • SSD strongly recommended
