2017 will be remembered as the year the Battle Royale genre took off. After the success of titles like Player Unknown's Battlegrounds and Fortnite Battle Royale, Paladins is the latest franchise to add a Battle Royale mode.

Set to launch later in the year, the game mode will focus on team gameplay unlike PUBG which can be played solo. After spawning into a large map, players must rely on one another to survive an intense 100 player conflict. Victory belongs to the last team standing.

Hi-Rez Studios also released a new cinematic trailer for Paladins which you can check out below. Be sure to leave a comment in the usual place.

Paladins is currently free-to-play on PC.
