The critically acclaimed game developer behind
Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Owlcat Games, has returned to take up the task of delivering another unforgettable Computer Role Playing Game adventure experience in the form of
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous.
Owlcat has been hard at work to bring players an even more elevated experience, building upon the successful core elements of the previous game although
Wrath of the Righteous doesn't serve as a direct sequel to
Kingmaker.
Despite admitting that they are able to finish the game with the funds they have available, the team has started a Kickstarter campaign in the hope that they can make the game as great as possible, giving the fans what they deserve.
The tactic must have worked, too, as the campaign only began today, February 4th, and while it was announced to run for 35 days until March 11th, it is almost at its intended initial goal. In fact, at the time of this article's construction, the campaign has currently reached $297,161 of a $300,000 goal.
Nearly five thousand players have already backed the campaign and many more are sure to do so in the coming month, so it will be interesting to see just how high
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is able to fly when all is said and done and there are plenty of extra funds for its development.
Take a look at the trailer for the game below which takes a look at the game's visual effects and also features appearances from Oleg Shpilchevsky, Alexander Mishulin, Nika Alborti, and Chris Avellone in regards to the games new design philosophy and features.
