We previously announced how well the Kickstarter Campaign for Owlcat's new CRPG Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous was doing back in its infancy, and now we have updates on the current donations as well as the stretch goal they have set. Setting a new goal, Owlcat is hoping that they can implement a Spanish language option to their follow-up to Pathfinder: Kingmaker.

The highly anticipated computer role playing game which is based on Paizu's tabletop gaming sensation has already raked in $1.3 million with their ambitious Kickstarter Campaign and the developer doesn't plan on stopping there. Owlcat has now announced their plans to add Spanish Localization to the upcoming title via its twelfth stretch goal. If the developer is able to achieve this stretch goal, it will also allow the introduction a new race called Oreads - stoic and contemplative descendants of outsiders from the Elemental Plane of Earth.

Currently, our script for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous contains more than 1.2 million words. This translation is a complex task that we want done right so Spanish-speaking people are pleased with the final product. - Oleg Shpilchevskiy, Head of Owlcat Games

Any backers who supported Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous’ Kickstarter Campaign today receive the bonus of voting for another non-human race: ratfolk, catfolk or kitsune (“fox folk”). In addition, a new race of half-undead mortals called dhampirs will also debut when the game launches in June 2021.

Stretch goals that backers have unlocked so far include the following:
  • Two new Mythic Paths (Swarm-That-Walks and Gold Dragon)
  • Two new classes (Warpriest and Skald)
  • Evolving animal companions
  • A “thiefling” companion named Woljif Jefto
  • A select soundtrack performed by a symphony orchestra
  • One additional archetype per class
  • Other new features such as mounted combat, dismemberment, and Double Reactivity.
