Strategy games have always had the potential of being some of the most pulse-pounding experiences in gaming if done correctly. One of the finest examples of this has got to be XCOM 2, which sees heroes face off against an alien menace.
SillAlive's Drone Swarm promises to bring that gameplay intensity to the forefront with their one of a kind game style. The player controls thousands of small drones in the game and uses them to defend a ship of human innocents against a malevolent alien menace. What makes the gameplay so unique is the idea of guiding these dromes in both defensive and offensive positions, all in the span of a minute and a half!
There is still a lot that has not been uncovered before its October release, but the creators have made sure to give players a solid rundown of what to expect. A new explanation trailer has been released that helps clarify how to approach the game ahead of its debut.
