BioWare recently announced an entirely new Tactical Heads-Up Display (HUD) for Mass Effect on the PC. The new HUD allows players to access the Individual Squad Command, Biotics powers and Abilities and Weapons command interfaces all in one screen, and can be accessed simply by pressing the space bar. The new Tactical HUD makes executing a variety of important commands a very natural and quick experience so players can get back into the action.

Originally released for the Xbox 360 in November 2007, Mass Effect, a sci-fi epic, has garnered over eighty awards as it puts players in the role of Commander Shepard, the first human member of an elite military squad. Mass Effect features real-time, squad-based combat, allowing players the ability to issue specific orders to each individual squad member via the new Tactical HUD. Once activated, players can order squad members to take up key positions in combat, switch weapons, or unleash deadly Biotic powers and abilities. This gives the player the ability to combine commands and create new offensive and defensive strategies.
