PlayStation 5 is releasing tomorrow in some regions around the globe, and Sony's next-gen console will be offering a pretty solid line-up of titles for players to choose from, but there is one game that players won't have to think twice to get, as the decision has already been made for them.

We are talking about Astro's Playroom, which is an action-adventure game developed by Team Asobi, who also developed the critically acclaimed Astro Bot Rescue Mission for the PlayStation VR, and that is actually pre-installed in every PlayStation 5 console.

Media outlets have already had accessed to Astro's Playroom, and they have all been praising how well designed the game is, its immessurable charm, and how it takes full advantage of the DualSense's revolutionary haptic feedback, which makes it the perfect game for players to know what the PlayStation 5's new controller is capable of.

Creative Director at SCEJ(Sony Cumputer Entertainment Japan) Nicolas Doucet has recently revealed some interesting new details about Astro's Playroom ahead of tomorrow's release, which will likely make players want to take their time exploring the game.

"Finally, we are delighted to be able to talk about another feature that we are super passionate about. As well as making a showcase of the DualSense wireless controller, Astro’s Playroom is also a huge celebration of 25 years of PlayStation history. The game is jam-packed with tributes and references to the PlayStation universe."

"As you explore Astro’s Playroom’s levels, you’ll be collecting various consoles, controllers and accessories that can be stored – and interacted with! – inside PlayStation Labo, the museum-like area contained within the game’s hub world. These artifacts look glorious in 4K and packed with little details such as connectors, labels… you can even spot the original serial numbers!"

What's likely one of the most exciting additions to Astro's Playroom is the fact that, as seen in previous trailers, some iconic characters other PlayStation franchises will be making cameos in the game. So far, we've seen Kratos and his son Atreus in the trailers, but Team Asobi promises that there will be more cameos like this one in the game.

"But what would a tribute to PlayStation be without the many games and heroes of our favorite franchise, right? The Bots certainly thought so and dressed up for the occasion! There are over 60 cameos hidden throughout the game which offer knowing winks to titles from across all four PlayStation generations. If you spot a Bot wielding a camera and wearing a blue PlayStation cap, be sure to look around nearby: you’re sure to spot a famous moment being reenacted!"

Astro's Playroom will finally release tomorrow alongside the PlayStation 5, and Sony has just released an accolades trailer that flaunts all of the positive reviews this charming new title by Team Asobi has been getting from critics.
