February is coming to an end, as Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus line-up for March 2019, featuring two pretty unexpected, but still welcome choices. Yes, from now on, we will get only two PlayStation 4 games a month, as Sony has decided to stop supporting PlayStation 3 & PlayStation Vita.
Thankfully, any PS3 and PS Vita games you’ve already downloaded, or will download, prior to March 8, 2019 (including
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriot, Rogue Aces & Gunhouse, and
Divekick), won’t be affected by this change. Considering that Microsoft's Games with Gold still feature games from the Xbox 360 era (and all of them are backward compatible on Xbox One), that's a major disadvantage.
Next month's PS+ will include
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered and
The Witness. Both acclaimed titles will be available to download from PlayStation Store from March 5 to April 1, 2019.
Be sure to take a closer look at
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered and
The Witness below:
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered:
Get ready to suit up once again as Sergeant John “Soap” MacTavish in one of the most critically-acclaimed campaigns of all time with Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® Remastered, included with special editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Relive some of the most beloved missions in Call of Duty history – including Crew Expendable, Shock and Awe, All Ghillied Up, and Mile High Club – all remastered in incredible high definition for a new generation.
The Witness:
You wake up, alone, on a strange island full of puzzles that will challenge and surprise you. The Witness is a single-player game in an open world with dozens of locations to explore and over 500 puzzles. This game respects you as an intelligent player and it treats your time as precious. There's no filler; each of those puzzles brings its own new idea into the mix. So, this is a game full of ideas.
