Being subscribed to PlayStation Plus entitles you to some free games each and every month. A week ago,
PlayStation officially announced July's set of subscriber rewards, those being
Horizon Chase Turbo and
Pro Evolution Soccer 2019. In that time, problems with the inclusion of the latter game have evidently emerged as it has been replaced by
Detroit: Become Human.
Specifically, the
"Digital Deluxe Edition" of
Detroit: Become Human. This version of the acclaimed video-game, which released last year, includes a similar title from 2010 by the name of
Heavy Rain. Both of these games are made by Quantic Dream and consist of a branching narrative that changes based on the player's choices.
The change to July's PlayStation Plus offerings is thought to have come about on account of the negative reaction that the original selections announcement received. While the soccer game will now not be made free to PlayStation Plus subscribers, the racing game will.
“Update: We are making a swap to the PS Plus games lineup for July. This month, we are adding Detroit: Become Human Digital Deluxe Edition, which also includes Heavy Rain, to the July games lineup instead of Pro Evolution Soccer 2019. We apologize for any inconvenience," read PlayStation's recent announcement.
