Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise is a game developed by Ryu ga Gotoku Studio and is based on the popular Fist of the North Star manga by Buronson. The game was announced during this year's E3 and will be available exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on the
2nd of October.
Today, Sega has released a new trailer for
Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise, which shows off the Dragon of Dojima, Kazuma Kiryu from the
Yakuza series, as a skin for the game's main character: Kenshiro. The Kazuma Kiryu skin will be available at launch as a free DLC.
While the crossover may be odd at first, from a technical point is also an obvious choice given that both the
Yakuza series and
Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise are developed by Sega's Ryu ga Gotoku studio. Kenshiro and Kazuma are characters that get involved in fights more often than not, so it actually makes perfect sense to have Kiryu crossing over as a skin for Kenshiro.
The similarities don't stop there, as both characters are voiced by the same person: Takaya Kuroda. When wearing the Kiryu skin, all in-game battle dialogue will be different—including the classic
Fist of the North Star Hokuto Shinken callouts.
