From Sega's Ryū ga Gotoku—the very same studio that gave us the brilliant Yakuza series—we get Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise. The game is based on Fist of the North Star, which is a popular manga and anime series created by legendary mangaka Buronson in the early 1980s.

In Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise, players take control of main character Kenshiro—who finds himself in an alternate post-apocalyptic universe—and traverse through an open-world in which they will encounter hordes of foes to beat up. The game is also including some RPG elements that will likely come in the form of character progression regarding combat moves and finishers.

The latest trailer released by Sega shows off the brutal combat featured in Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise, which looks like taken straight from the manga and anime. The game is even adopting the Hidebu meme, which will occasionally show up on the screen for players to use as a weapon.

From Ryu ga Gotoku Studio, the development team behind the acclaimed Yakuza series, Lost Paradise is a high-intensity action-adventure RPG based within the world of the beloved Fist of the North Star manga.

Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise will be available exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on the 2nd of October.
